Typhoon Haiyan

After a few frantic emails from family, we decided to head South earlier than planned. We caught a sleeper train to Nha Trang and are now 500+ km away from the eye of the storm. We were accompanied by a train station full of backpackers with a similar idea.

We only hope that Haiyan's arrival is as uneventful as possible. Below: Danang children watch as the floats from a cancelled weekend parade move down the street.
